Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Cookware is an excellent choice for your stovetop and oven cooking. Cast iron provides superior heat distribution and retention, while the porcelain enamel surface is non-reactive with foods and is also hygienic and easy to clean. Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Cookware allows you to braise, boil, sauté and stew with consistent results.

Made from molten iron cast in individual sand molds according to Lodge’s exact specifications, the cookware is initially coated with matte black enamel (note the black rim of the pot and lid) and then coated with two layers of glossy porcelain enamel. The resulting surface is non-porous, extremely hard and durable, easy to clean, and is also chip resistant. The tight fitting lids seal in moisture during cooking and have matte black knobs oven safe to 400° F.
