Yes, these ingenious lamp shades are made of real wood! Thin sheets of veneer, available in teak, oak or wenge, are die-cut with patterns that evoke the style of the year for which they are named. Gently bend the veneer and secure it to the metal wire frame which attaches to a standard electrical cord kit. Light cast through the veneer provides a glowing ambient light that enhances the natural wood grain of the shade. The shade shapes may reference a specific year but we think these beautiful shades are timeless and easily add a modern sensibility to any room.

Assembly required
15’ black electrical cord kit with socket, plug and on/off switch included
Additional hardware is included to use the shade for a table lamp.
